Points: Participating in events nets you an amount of points equal to the predetermined point value of that event. This is usually calculated based on how long the event can last, with 1-point per half-hour period. For example, a 30-minute Ark Angel fight has a value of 1-point, while a 45 minute delve run has a value of 2-points. A two-hour long farming session would be worth 4-points. Some special events, like Divine Might, will be worth more than their calculated time value (ie: 2-points despite the time limit being 30 minutes).

Roll: At the designated event time, the event organizer will call roll in linkshell chat (something like, "Who's here?"). Members who will be participating in that night's event must affirm that they are present and will be attending (a simple slash will do). If you do not respond to this roll, we will not assume you are going - even if you were talking in LS chat just five minutes prior! Should you need to go to the bathroom or something two minutes before roll is supposed to be called, you can do a pre-roll affirmation by sending the organizer a tell and letting them know before you leave the keyboard.

Job Calling: Within ten minutes of roll being called, the event organizer will say what jobs everyone is going on.

On-Time Bonus: Ten minutes after jobs have been called, the event organizer will take a screenshot. Everyone who is in the zone and ready to begin the event will gain 1 bonus point for being on-time.

Bringing A Pop Bonus: If the event involves popping NM(s), those who bring a pop set for the NM(s) will be awarded a 1-point bonus for each set (ie: If we are killing 2 NMs, and you bring 1 pop set, you will receive a 1-point bonus. Likewise, bringing both pop sets will get you a 2-point bonus.).

Late Penalty: If, twenty minutes after jobs have been called, someone isn't in the zone and ready to start, that person will suffer a 1-point penalty for holding everyone else up.

Bids: For mega boss and other difficult mob drops, the event organizer will call for bids (something like, "mitts /tell"). Members who are considered active can then /tell the organizer how many points they'd be willing to spend for the item. There is a 3-point minimum bid, and if you don't win, you'll keep your points. After a little bit, there will be a last call (i.e. "mitts last call"). Shortly after the last call, the organizer will say who gets to lot on the item. In the case of multiple bids being within 3-points of each other, the organizer will announce a lot-off between the people who made the bids.

Should no one have bid on the item, the organizer will say the item is free-lot, meaning anyone can lot it. Even in this situation, please be sensible with lotting. It'd be rude to lot on an ilvl 119 Great Axe for your level 7 WAR when there are three other people in the party who already lotted it for their 99 WARs that can actually equip it.

If the event organizer would like to bid on an item, they'll indicate to send /tells to another officer for bids (i.e. "mitts /tell otherperson").

Bank: Some items during an event will automatically be lotted by the "bank" - usually the event organizer or a mule. These items will be reserved for open bidding at a later time on the forums. For example, all individual plutons during a delve run will be lotted, and in the future there will be an open bidding for a batch of 25 of them.
