Bhaflau Remnants I

General
  • All floors except for the boss floor have ways of spawning a Dormant Rampart. Examining this Dormant Rampart will teleport you to a room with a Reactionary Rampart.
  • When aggroed, the Reactionary Rampart will start using Reinforcements to summon a mob every 12 seconds. Doing so causes it to lose 1% of its HP, so if you want to maximize the number of mobs that are spawned, don't damage the Rampart once you aggro it. Once aggroed, it takes 20 minutes for the Rampart to passively drop from 100% to 0%.
  • The Reactionary Rampart summons two kinds of mobs, a typical NQ fodder mob, and very rarely, an HQ. The NMs have the chance of dropping Salvage armor. The HQ always has a 100% drop rate for a Cotton Coin Purse. Multiple NMs may be spawned per Rampart.
  • Once the Reactionary Rampart is dead (either by you or from spawning mobs), you'll be teleported back to where you examined the floor's Dormant Rampart. Proceed to the next floor.
  • Normal mobs here all have a low chance of dropping the following armors: Enyo's Leggings, Njord's Trousers, Hoshikazu Tekko, Anu's Tiara, and Nemain's Sabots. These are unique to this Salvage zone.

First Floor
  • Go down West path
  • Kill Troll Lapidarist for Weapon (Incus) and Sub Job (Duplicatus) cell unlocks (Bifrons work too)
  • Kill Wamouracampa for Armor unlocks: Head (Castellanus), Ranged (Undulatus), Body (Cumulus), Hands (Radiatus), Ear (Virga), Waist (Cirrocumulus), Feet (Stratus)
  • Kill Wandering Wamoura for Ability (Opacus) unlock
  • Defeat Mad Bomber within 75 seconds of aggroing it (before Self-Destruct). This spawns the Dormant Rampart for this floor.
  • This floor's Reactionary Rampart spawns Chigoe (NQ) and Gate Widow (HQ). They drop Enlil's Brayettes and Macha's Cuffs. Enlil's Brayettes may also drop from Peryton on Floor 4.
  • Can only spawn up to 5 Chigoe at a time. Will keep losing HP even if it can't spawn more. Clear the Chigoes fast.

Second Floor
  • In the center of this floor there are four Empathic Flans. You must kill all four when they have spikes on their head to spawn this floor's Dormant Rampart.
  • Empathic Flans change their form after taking 10% damage once they cast a spell or use a TP move.
  • This floor's Reactionary Rampart spawns Hunting Wasp (NQ) and Skirmish Pephredo (HQ)
  • The Hunting Wasp drops nothing (but takes double damage). The Skirmish Pephredo drops Hikazu Sune-Ate and Freya's Mask. Zebra Zachary on Floor 3 also has a chance of dropping Freya's Mask.

Third Floor
  • If you have the Arrapago Card from the Archaic Gears in Arrapago Remnants, trade to the slot to spawn Demented Jalawaa which drops Anu's Doublet.
  • There are two sets of Triple Archaic Gears on this floor, one to the east, and the other to the west. They must be killed within 5-6 seconds of each other to spawn this floor's Dormant Rampart.
  • Go to one side and kill the Singles that hang around the Triple, then pull that Triple to the Triple on the other side. Kill the Singles there, then line up the two Triples so that you'll auto-switch to the other when you kill one. TP the first Triple down, then immediately WS the second.
  • The Dormant Rampart will spawn in the room belonging to the Triple that died last. The Reactionary spawns Colibri (NQ) and Zebra Zachary (HQ).
  • Colibris drop nothing. Zebra Zachary drops Deimos's Gauntlets and Freya's Mask. Freya's Mask may have also been gotten from the Skirmish Pephredo on Floor 2.

Fourth Floor
  • There are ten Archaic Gear on this floor. They will warp away if they aggro, link, or are pulled with a damaging ability or spell (ranged attacks are okay though!). They also warp away if not killed within 60 seconds of being aggroed.
  • All ten gears must be killed without any warping away to spawn this floor's Dormant Rampart.
  • The gears can drop Bhaflau Card. Keep this for the Slot NM in Arrapago Remnants.
  • This floor's Reactionary Rampart spawns Tragopan (NQ, drops nothing) and Peryton (HQ). Peryton drops Freya's Jerkin and Enlil's Brayettes. Enlil's Brayettes can also be gotten from the Gate Widow on Floor 1.
  • Take the West path and kill the Archaic Chariot along to way to reduce the boss's Defense on the next floor.

Fifth Floor
  • The only mob here is the boss Long-bowed Chariot.
  • Fighting it from the front causes it to use Homing Missile. This move does HP percentage damage depending on how many gears you killed on the previous floor (90% HP if none, 10% HP if all ten). Fight from the side or behind so it won't use this attack. Keep in mind that this NM occasionally turns to face you, so be prepared to move (and to cure yourself of Bind so that you can).
  • Drops two of the following: Bodb's Crown, Bodb's Robe, Ea's Dastanas, Freyr's Ledelsens, Phobos's Mask, Phobos's Cuirass, and Tsukikazu Haidate. All are unique to this NM.
